The end of summer means a lot of things — back to school, back to the regular routine. But it also means the end of the model year is coming.

Samsung’s 52-inch range has it all!
No matter what the final use is, a 52-inch LCD TV is by no means small.
For many rooms, it’s a dominant centerpiece. A home theater setup can be built around a screen of that size. And even if it doesn’t end up playing high-definition movies every night, it’s still a pretty awesome sight.

One of the great benefits of rapidly advancing technology is its ability to make everything smaller.
Think about a portable music player 10 years ago compared to now. A CD player would have been it back then, but now the iPod is ubiquitous — and tiny.
That same technology is being applied to flat-screen televisions, though in a different way. A 55-inch screen is still a 55-inch screen, but it doesn’t have to be any more than a few inches thick.
